Lines of Legacy is an interactive educational experience designed to bring Black history to life through art and storytelling.
Created for classrooms, libraries, and community spaces, the program invites participants to engage with history in a more hands-on and meaningful way. Through guided discussion and creative activity, attendees explore historical figures, cultural contributions, and their own connections to the material.
Each session is designed to be accessible, engaging, and adaptable across different age groups.

Javonne Barrett is a Detroit-born cultural storyteller and the creator of Lines of Legacy, an educational art project focused on making Black history more interactive and accessible.
